Extensive laboratory tests in certified laboratories in Europe have proven the effectiveness of the product against viruses, bacteria and fungi on surfaces for 12 months or 5000 touches / cleaning cycles. The duration and effectiveness depend on the use of the surface, the cleaning method and products we use and on how often we clean it.

The product has absolutely no effect on the skin after the appropriate application time (6 hours). Extensive dermatological evaluations have shown that even after long-term or regular skin contact, there are absolutely no skin problems or discomforts. The product is completely safe for children and pets.

Conventional disinfectants and antimicrobial products contain chemicals and solvents that basically rinse the surface, but their action is instantaneous and needs to be repeated daily. iQ^x formula of active ingredients binds silane molecules to any surface creating a transparent coating with antimicrobial properties. Nearby germs are attracted to positively charged layers with long molecular chains that penetrate their cell wall, breaking down their cell walls, killing the microbes through a natural action. Thanks to these unique properties, the surface does not need additional chemical treatment.

iQ^x provides long-term disinfection and antimicrobial protection by eliminating all pathogenic viruses, bacteria and harmful microorganisms while preventing mold creation at the same time. Consequently, all you need to do is clean the surface with water and a towel and you no longer need to use additional chemical cleaners.

On the surfaces that we use very regularly e.g. car, telephones, keyboards and on domestic applications i.e. knobs, bathroom, floor etc., 10-12 months with 1 only application will provide you effective antimicrobial coverage. In places and on surfaces though with a high concentration of people, such as public vehicles, shopping malls and offices, elevators etc it is recommended to repeat the application after about 1-3 months. The coating will resist microbial attacks for 5000 touches.

Always apply  iQ^x on a completely clean and dry surface. Always wear protective gloves and glasses. Then apply the coating and remove visible residues with a clean cloth (we recommend cloth with microfibers). Wait for the coating to dry completely for 3-6 hours at room temperature and do not touch the surface during these hours. After 24 hours of the application you can clean the surface only with water and a towel without using chemical detergents for a long time.

After many months of laboratory studies on the action of the product against SARS-CoV-2 virus (which causes COV-19 disease) since the first outburst, its effectiveness just recently has been proven. This action was added to its already confirmed one on the elimination of infectious diseases such as the SARS-CoV family viruses and H1N1 influenza type A and B.

iQ^x has been tested with Sars-Cov-2 and the Study has been conducted based on ISO 21702 standards by the university of Lisbon. To proof that the product is effective against other claimed microbes is done with a world wide accepted test executed by a Certified lab.​ The test that is executed to test the effectiveness of the coating is a ISO: 22196 certificate showing that the product is effective.
